On land – theory and practical
1) Introduction to 12V electricity (incl multimeter) 2 hrs
2) Knots (and splicing) and rope work 1 hr
3) Basic navigation (plan a trip) 2 hrs
4) Weather (understanding forecasts) (wind and boat) 2 hr
5) Basic engine understanding (do general maintenance) 2 hrs
6) Communication onboard, leadership and roles 1 hr
On land – more practical – fixing something
7) Carena introduction 2 hrs
8) How to handle rust 2 hrs
9) Basic carpentry (main hand tools and electrical tools) 2 hrs
9b) Build a box for aft deck 2x 2hrs
At sea on a boat (24 hour trip)
10) Tacking exercise 4 hrs – during a 24hr trip
11) Navigation exercise – during a 24hr trip
11b) Night sail – during a 24hr trip
12) MOB exercise – during a 24hr trip
13) Docking boat – maneuver in harbor – 2hrs
Other

= 24 hours = 3 days + 24 hour trip = 4 days + 2 travel days
You can stay longer at the farm
Travel paid (maximum 275 euro) – food and accommodation paid – activity and boat included.
